Jr. LIVESTOCK AUCTION ADVISORY COMMITTEE
This Committee is a voluntary group who works with the 13th District Agricultural Association to plan and operate the annual 4-H and FFA Junior Livestock Auction Sale in conjunction with the annual Yuba-Sutter Fair under the Guidelines and Procedures.
The annual meeting of the Committee shall be held on the second Thursday of January. Regular meetings shall be held on the second Thursday of the months of March, June, and September. These meetings are held in Expo Hall on the Fairgrounds, located at 442 Franklin Ave., Yuba City, CA 95991.
The JLA Advisory Committee is advisory in nature and its purpose is to provide the Yuba-Sutter Fair Board of Directors with recommendations pertaining to rules and policy regarding the auction and to assist in the presentation of the junior livestock auction. The Yuba-Sutter Fair Board of Directors and management retain all authority as it pertains to matters regarding the fair.
